We’re seeking talented and creative Asset & Scene Builders to join our team for an exciting animated TV series production, Maddie + Triggs. This audio-first series is founded on the principle that ‘If two kids, one sighted and one vision impaired, sit down side by side to ‘watch’ the show, neither will have a lesser experience’. In this role, you will be responsible for building scenes in Adobe Animate according to the animatic. The ideal candidate will possess an understanding of character rigs, and excellent drawing skills.

You will be creating bespoke scenes to match the animatic. While doing this you will be preparing Adobe files ready for animation, taking assets and backgrounds and laying them out to match the composition of the animatic. You will maintain a consistent style and quality throughout the series, while adding your own creative touch.

• Follow instructions of the Director to meet creative standards and production deadlines.
• Address any problems with the production team.
• Communicate progress of work to the Production Co-ordinator.
• Follow file naming and storage procedures according to the production’s guidelines
• Attendance is required at meetings when requested by the Production Co-ordinator and Production Manager.

• Have a strong understanding of character design and posing.
• Have a high level of technical drawing skills, with evidence of graphical styles within artwork.
• Experience in taking artwork and adding symbols to meet the needs of animation.
• Experience in a symbol-based Adobe Animate pipeline essential for lead roles.
• Creativity and innovation.
• Experience working with Adobe Creative Cloud suite.
• Experience working with FTrack is an advantage but not required.
• Good technical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Understanding of the 2D animation pipeline.
